1882 Davis Low Arm Vertical Feed (LAVF) with Eagle and Shield Decals

     This sewing machine is an 1882 Davis Low Arm Vertical Feed (LAVF).  This machine is special because it has a decal that I've never seen on another LAVF.  I've seen this decoration on a few High Arm Vertical Feeds, but not on a LAVF.  I purchased this machine last November from a fellow sewing machine collector.  As with many machines that I own, this one is patiently waiting to be restored.  The pictures posted were taken the day I brought the machine home.  The way it sits the machine is fully functional and sews a fine stitch.  Stay tuned for future updates!!




























     These next two pics are of the table with a little bit of mineral spirits on it to see how well it would clean up.
