1900 Singer 15K with Ultra Rare Wrap Around Hand Crank with Integrated Bobbin Winder

Here is a 1900 Singer 15K hand crank sewing machine. I picked this up in an auction here in the Pittsburgh area back in April of 2023. This machine is in a portable base that is mounted in a treadle base. Honestly, I don't think the treadle base is original as the opening in the treadle top is pretty crudely made and the portable base has a notch in to straddle the right side treadle iron although I've several others that were made the same way. The machine is not a looker and is not in good shape. All that aside, the thing that really makes this machine special is the wrap around hand crank with the integrated bobbin winder. In all my years of collecting I have never seen another one.....not even in pictures. I've consulted with a few experts and they have never seen one either. The only place I've ever seen one referrenced is in a Singer Model 15 parts manual. See below....part 15155. I don't really have plans to restore this machine. I think I will probably just leave it as is.
